Give each day one purpose

Use the Rail District for the first day’s browsing and dining, and make the second day about play or time outdoors. These are separate outings, not a promised walking route. Check the map and current traffic when you decide where to stay or where to begin.

Build around your interests

For a group that loves games, the National Videogame Museum can anchor the second day. For a group that wants fewer tickets and more fresh air, choose a park from the city directory instead. Avoid stacking both into a tight morning unless everyone actively wants a busy schedule.

Plan the pieces that matter

Confirm admission for the museum and opening hours for your chosen meal. Leave browsing and breaks flexible. If your group is traveling from elsewhere in DFW, choose the day’s final stop with the drive home in mind. A good weekend can have only a few stops and still feel full.
